Tourist sites to visit whilst in Cape Town:

  • Table Mountain – Via the Cable Car. You will witness the most magnificent views!
  • Robben Island – Take a ferry trip to the island known as a place of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment. Nelson Mandela was incarcerated here for nearly 30 years.
  • Cape of Good Hope – Cape Peninsula National Park situated at the junction of two of the earth’s most contrasting water masses – the Cold Benguela Current on the West Coast and the warm waters of the False Bay on the East Coast.
  • Boulders Beach – en route to the Cape of Good Hope visit this world famous beach known for its thriving colony of African Penguins, a vulnerable bird, which can be observed at close range. Take a swim in the natural, seawater rock pools.
  • Trip to the Winelands to savour South African wines and especially to taste the cultivar particular to South Africa – Pinotage Red Wine.
  • Franschoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch – visit these three historic towns in the Winelands area, which boasts architectural, designed houses from the past.
  • Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens – Beautiful gardens with interesting walks /hiking trails, curio shops and restaurants.
  • Hout Bay – a beautiful village with a fishing harbour situated in a secluded valley. Take a boat trip to Seal Island.
  • Camps Bay Beach and the Famous Clifton Beaches – spend a few days simply soaking up the sun on one of these pristine beaches.
  • The Waterfront and Century City – Great places to shop, eat out and see many activities. Take a boat trip around the harbour.
  • Rhodes Memorial and The Castle – Historical landmarks.
  • Helicopter Trip around the Peninsula – absolutely spectacular!

  • Mountain Bike Trails – Personalized day trips along unspoiled scenic routes in the greater Cape Town area, such as Cape Point Nature Reserve, Silver Mine Nature Reserve, Table Mountain route and Tokai Forest, to name a few.
  • Parties – If you want to meet locals and feel in a party mood – speak to us – if we are going to a party, you are welcome to join us, alternatively we can recommend nightclubs / party venues etc.
  • Surfing – The following beaches are the surfing spots of Cape Town:
    Glen Beach (next door to Camps Bay); Llandudno; Noordhoek Beach; Kommetjie Beach; Misty Cliffs; Kalk bay; Muizenberg ; Big Bay(near Bloubergstrand).
  • Tennis – Can be arranged at the local tennis club.
  • Touch Rugby – normally played on the beach.
  • Volleyball – Is played on the beach every sunny, windless day.
